THERAPY TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.

I believe healing begins with compassion, empathy, and the courage to grow. I provide trauma-informed, client-centered care to teens and adults, helping them build on their strengths while navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and communication concerns, and difficulties with emotion regulation. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I utilize an eclectic, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach to treatment, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I value transparency in the therapeutic process and believe that appropriate humor can be a powerful tool in building connection, easing difficult moments, and supporting healing.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT

Your first session will be different from future visits. The initial appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss your goals, and develop a plan for how to move forward. Subsequent sessions will focus more fully on the therapeutic work and the process of healing and growth.

To provide the most effective care, our first session will begin with a conversation about what motivated you to seek therapy and what you hope to gain from treatment. We will also review required topics for services, including informed consent, HIPAA confidentiality, credentialing disclosures, psychoeducation about therapeutic modalities, expectations for treatment, and agency policies regarding attendance and payment. If time permits, we may also complete some initial assessments.

It is important to keep in mind that therapy is not a quick fix; it is a process of change that requires active participation, openness, and commitment from both the client and the therapist.
